Get egg-cited for The Bluff Ratepayers and Residents Association’s Easter carnival

The Bluff Ratepayers and Residents Association are spreading their Easter cheer as they get ready for their Easter Carnival this weekend.

THE Bluff Ratepayers and Residents Association (BRRA) is inviting the community to a day of family fun and Easter celebration at its Easter Carnival at The Bluff Showgrounds on April 19.

Suzette Niemand, BRRA marketer, said the carnival offers a vibrant line-up of activities and entertainment. “It is part of a larger vision of developing and transforming The Bluff community through shared celebration,” said Niemand.

She said building on the success of their Light Festival, the BRRA hopes the Easter Carnival could also become an annual event. Although this year’s festival is a one-day event, they have ambitions to make it a four-day festival in 2026.

What to expect at the carnival?

• Easter Egg hunts
• Live music and performances
• Tasty treats from local food vendors
• Arts and crafts market
• Games and activities for all ages
• Raffles and prizes
• Special appearances by the Duracell Bunny

The BRRA has been building anticipation in the lead-up to the event, conducting daily competitions and decorating The Bluff with vibrant posters and displays. With an estimated 3000 to 5000 patrons expected, the carnival is shaping up to be one of the biggest community events of the year.
