RBIDZ SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) BID NO: MO/ADM/543/26 – APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO PREPARE AN OHS LEGAL REGISTER AND UNDERTAKE AN OHS LEGAL COMPLIANCE AUDIT FOR THE RBIDZ. The Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone Company SOC Ltd (RBIDZ) invites suitably and experienced professional service providers for the Appointment of a Service Provider to Prepare an OHS Legal Register and Undertake an OHS Legal Compliance Audit for the RBIDZ. The RFP document may be obtained via email, as from 11 May 2026 at a NIL tender charge. The RFP document will be emailed upon an indication of interest from the prospective bidder and should forward a request for RFP document via email to tenders@rbidz.co.za with their company name, address and contact details quoting the bid number and description on the subject line. No briefing meeting or site inspection will be conducted for this project. Proposals must be completed in accordance with the conditions attached to the RFP, must be sealed and endorsed with the relevant contract number and must be deposited in the official tender box at the RBIDZ Office Complex, 4 Harbour Arterial, Alton, Richards Bay (GPS 2846`50.3`S 3200`54.0`E) not later than 12h00 on 27 May 2026. Proposals will be evaluated in terms price and preference on an 80/20 system as contemplated in the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and must score a minimum of 60% on functionality to be considered further in terms of price and preference. In accordance with the RBIDZ Preferential Procurement Policy and Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Acts and associated Codes of Good Practice, it is a condition of tender that, only tenderers that are B-BBEE Level 1-3 shall be eligible to tender. Tenderers that do not meet the pre- qualification criteria for preferential procurement shall be immediately disqualified. The RBIDZ is not bound to accept the lowest price, highest scoring or any tender and reserves the right to accept or not to accept any tender in whole or part thereof.
