Go boulder hopping in Monteseel

Hikers will descend into the Valley of a 1000 Hills and back. The landscape includes some cliff edges and boulder hopping so fitness is required.
Meet at 1.45pm at the Hacienda Pub in St Andries Street, Monteseel. Hikers will meet for drinks afterwards at the Hacienda Pub. There is a R20 donation to the Monteseel Conservancy. This hike is grading two, moderate and includes a vertigo warning.

This is a walk over undulating hills down to Delville Wood Station from the opposite side, through the tunnels to Kirk Falls, near Shongweni, which hopefully will be fuller than in previous years. Hikers are to meet at 8am at Union Main Centre, 45 Old Main Road, Pinetown or at 8.15am at Assagay Hotel, from where they will drive in convoy to the parking. This is not the normal Delville Wood hike. Petrol sharing costs R20 per person and the hike is graded three to four. A distance of about 18km will be covered.
