‘Sop n dop’ to warm YWP time trial athletes

Entrance into the reserve is R20 per adult with a discounted fee for children.

YELLOWWOOD Park Athletics Club will hold its annual ‘sop ‘n dop’ time trial on Wednesday, 13 July starting at 5.30pm from the top picnic site boma in Ezemvelo Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve.

Entrance into the reserve is R20 per adult with a discounted fee for children.

It will kick off with a short, fun night run for the whole family, so take along headlamps and torches. There will be a couple of prizes for the group that best embraces the nature of the run.

Then the bonfire will get going and the soup bubbling and everyone can enjoy the beauty of nature at its best. The soup will be free, but take your own drinks.

If you’re just attending the bonfire, remember the gate closes at 6pm.

Let the club know by email or on Wednesday if you’ll be attending (for catering purposes).
