WOODLANDS Bowling Club’s men’s trips final was played on Saturday.

On the 18th end, the game was peeled at 19 all.

An extra end had to be played, and with Dixie’s last bowl he drew the perfect winning shot. Well done to Harold Dix, David Lloyd and Neville Horner. For Norman Moore, Dennis Holloway and Andy Cloete, it was a game to be remembered.

On the social side it was good to have Arnie Harper and Hanno Bloem join in and much fun was had by all. The bowlers then joined Carole Lauderdale in memory of John Campbell by placing his plaque on the wall of remembrance.
