Basil blitzes to the front of Quins AC time trials

HARLEQUINS Harriers Athletics Club time trial results from Wednesday, 1 March:

4.7km run: Basil Kok 20.50, Donovan Lelong 23.55, Andrea Battaglia 23.57, Chris Smith 24.40 Debbie Stringer 27.14, Colette Tanner 27.17, Bill Hogg 27.2.

Congratulations to the oldest runner in the club, Joan Schoeman, who at the age of 81 ran the Maritzburg half marathon on Sunday, 26 February in a time of 2.57.25. She continues to be an inspiration to so many runners.

There are a limited number of 2017 running licenses still available. Call Judy Conlin on 083-603-2877 to purchase a licence. The club welcomes the support.

Time trials are held every Wednesday evening at 5.45pm, starting at Bluff National Golf Club in Club Drive. All are welcome.
