Foursome make men’s qualifying masters

The R500 snowball was a carry-over.

CONGRATULATIONS to Wanderers Bowling Club’s (WBC) Richard Hendicott, Paul White and Terrance McGlynn who have been invited to the men’s open qualifying masters from 2 to 4 June at Amanzimtoti Bowling Club.

Bob Hayward was invited to the men’s senior qualifying masters as well.

Saturday saw the men host the inter club league against Durban, Durban Collegians and Northlands. The A side beat Durban 7-0 and the C side also beat Durban Collegians. The B side unfortunately lost to Northlands 7-0.

Friday’s various meat pack winners were: Lamb pack – Keith Wild, beef – Dianne Swan, pork roast – Thomas Simpkins, rump – Thomas Simpkins, chicken pack – Brian Reid, chicken – Barbara Peyper.

The R500 snowball was a carry-over.

The Friday lotto was a carry-over of R240 and Samantha had a chance to locate the joker, but was unsuccessful. The pool is now in the region of R7,000.

The annual Dan Draper tournament takes place this year for the 69th time from Monday, 3 July to Friday, 7 July. Richard and Jean are currently preparing the invites, so get your teams together.

The club’s thoughts and prayers are extended to those members on the recovery list, get well soon fellow Wanderers.
