Runners continue to taper down before Comrades
Due to the darker evenings as winter approaches, all runners are urged to wear light clothing

THIS week’s Harlequins Harriers Athletics Club time trial results reflect the slowdown in intensity with just over one week before the Ultimate Human Race, the Comrades Marathon.
Time trial results from Wednesday, 24 May:
4.7km (down run): Basil Kok 24.55, Daniel Human 24.56, Paul Murray 24.57, Debbie Stringer 31.52, Bill Hogg 31.55, Billy Davidson 32.31
Due to the earlier onset of the evenings as winter approaches, all runners are urged to wear light clothing and/or reflective belts while out on the roads. There are a limited number of 2017 licences still available. Call Judy Conlin on 083-603-2877 if you wish to purchase a licence. The club welcomes the support.
Time trials are held every Wednesday evening at 5.45pm, starting at Bluff National Golf Club in Club Drive. All are welcome.
