YWP AC hosts memorial time trial for departed member
The committee and members of YWP AC extend their heartfelt condolences to June and the Taylor family on the passing of George
YELLOWWOOD Park Athletics Club time trial results from 2 August.
2.5km run: Kingsley Colling 14.15, Gareth Hornsby 14.15, Wayne Chapman 16.17, Jessica Chapman 17.15.
4km run: Sphelele Dimba 17.01, Lungelo Buthelezi 18.08, Bheki Ngidi 20.40.
The committee and members of YWP AC extend their heartfelt condolences to June and the Taylor family on the death of George Taylor on 19 July. George was a founder member of the club and as is tradition at Yellowwood Park all members and friends present on Wednesday who knew George walked the 2.5km time trial in honour of his life – he will be fondly remembered.
Note that this week’s time trial takes place on Tuesday, to allow the women to enjoy their special holiday on Wednesday. It will be a lumo theme with prizes to the best dressed and most novel outfits.
