Arnie, Rina claim Sunday’s any pairs first prize

Sunday saw the any pairs take place with 12 teams contesting the five prizes on offer.

ON Wednesday the Tyson Lynne Wild pairs took place at Wanderers Bowling Club.

Julia and Eric Smit claimed the 60/40 spoils and Derek Stevens claimed the rump steak raffle.

First session went to Tommy Cloete and Claude Newman. Second session went the way of Chris Klopper and Derek Stevens. Overall prize went to Ronnie Hook and Robbie Carr. The lotto was another carry-over of R1,460.

Sunday saw the any pairs take place, with 12 teams contesting the five prizes on offer. The sportsman’s prize went to Richard Hendicott and new bowler Cave James. Tommy and Andy Cloete claimed the first session, while Johan Nel and Trish Overington won the second session. Lofty Cawthorne and Clive Symons won second overall, and Arnie Harper and Rina claimed the overall prize. The 60/40 board was won by Robin de Gouveia and Jeff Bolt. Well done to all.

Friday’s various meat pack winners were: Lamb pack – Mike Flack, beef – Chappie, pork roast – Ian Demmer, rump – Porky, chicken pack – Jeff Bolt, chicken – Jeff Bolt. The R1,000 snowball was a carry-over as Chane Wright was not present.

Friday’s lotto of R470 was also a carry-over. Cave James won the chance to locate the joker, but he squandered the chance to claim the some R15,500 on offer. He did however take the chance to double his spot prize to R100.
