Saturday saw the tabs in fours do battle and after a closely contested 20 ends, the spoils were even with Chris Klopper, Peter Prenger, Brian Deats and Derek Stevens peeling 15-15 with Eric Swanson, Jeff Bolt, Robbie Spiller and Dave Matthews.

Dave Matthews claimed the tickeys. Sunday saw the any pairs take place, with the sportsman’s position going to Denis Hearnshaw and Claude Newman.

First session went the way of Richard Hendicott and Trish Overington, and second session was won by Wonki and Chantal Hearnshaw. First prize went to Jeff Bolt and Robbie Spiller after a count out with Chris Klopper and Derek Stevens on 4+8.

Friday’s various meat pack winners were: Lamb pack – Tommy Simpkins, beef – Matthew Unger, pork roast – Tommy Simpkins, rump – Rob Philogene, chicken pack – Martin van Staden, chicken – Martin van Staden.

The R500 snowball was won by Mitch Mitchley.

The Friday lotto of R1,350 was also a carry over, and the joker draw was another carry-over as Rob Philogene could not locate the joker, but did take the opportunity to double his spot prize to R100. The pool is now in the region of R20,500. The scribe apologises as last week’s winner was incorrectly noted as Matt, but it was in fact Max. Apologies for any inconvenience.
