Nokuthula leads Quins AC in Sapphire Coast Marathon
Time trials are held every Wednesday evening at 5.45pm, starting at Bluff National Golf Club in Club Drive.

HARLEQUINS Harriers Athletics Club congratulates its athletes who pushed through and persevered in the Goss and Balfe Sapphire Coast Marathon on Sunday, 29 October.
The weather conditions made the race very difficult, with a strong head wind punishing athletes along the whole race route.
Quins AC’s race results:
42km: Nokuthula Masemola 4.47, Nana Mazibuko 4.56 (Well done women, you have qualified for the 2018 Comrades marathon)
21km: Marlin Wilson 2.06, Yoli Lunika 2.30, Judy Conlin 3.04.
Time trial results from Wednesday, 25 October:
4.7km (up run): Marlin Wilson 28.27, Basil Kok 28.28, Nana Mazibuko 29.09, Roxanne van der Byl 32.47, Debbie Stringer 32.47. Good luck to Marlin and Nana on running their first South Coast marathon on Sunday, 29 October and aiming for a sub five hour to qualify for the 2018 Comrades Marathon. Summer is here and the evenings are lighter but all runners are still urged to wear light clothing and reflective belts while out on the roads to see and be seen, and stay safe. There are a limited number of 2017 licences still available. Contact Judy Conlin on 083-603-2877 to purchase one. Time trials are held every Wednesday evening at 5.45pm, starting at Bluff National Golf Club in Club Drive. All are welcome.
