Bluff BC reschedules its AGM, prize-giving

On 3 December the Dave Nel Memorial challenge competition, which is a trips game, will be played.

IN the men’s fours final played at Bluff Bowling Club last weekend, Eddie Human, Kurt Spack, Noel Morel and Michael Schudel managed to beat Clinton Bisset, Jorge Santos, Deon Els and Harvey Simpkin on an extra end.

There were also three mixed competitions played.

Elize Stapelberg and Brian Osman beat Clinton Bisset and Glynis Mackrory, June Foster and Harvey Simpkin beat Janice Rodgers and Noel Morel and in the last game, Sarie Bisset and Michael Schudel beat Chris Pozyn and Ronel Morel.

On Sunday morning the Bluff pairs, sponsored by Grand Rapid Spur, were played. First prize went to Robert Mhlongo and Noel Morel, second Brian and Paula Osman. First session went the way of Jumbo Nel and Wayne Smith, second session went t oNeville and Ron Addinall. The board was won by Eddie Human and the raffle by Allen Ritchie. Competitions are posted for this weekend and members are asked to check whether they are playing.

There has been a change of dates for the AGM and prize-giving. Members are to note the AGM will now be held on Saturday, 9 December at 2pm and members are to wear club colours. Prize-giving takes place at 4pm on the same day.
