Ramblers round off year of hikes with lunch

DURBAN Ramblers Hiking Club takes a hike to Hill ‘n Dale Farm in Hammarsdale on Saturday, 9 December

This 8km hike is graded two, moderate and takes members through the conservancy with a combination of grassland and cane in the Hammarsdale area.

Cost is a R20 per person donation for the Hill ‘n Dale Conservancy. Hikers are to meet at the earlier time of 1.30pm at the now closed Assagay Hotel in Kassier Road to drive in convoy to the Hill ‘n Dale Farm (-29.766542; 30.654463).

There will be no scheduled hike on Sunday, 10 December.

Durban Ramblers will hold its year-end lunch from noon on Sunday, 10 December at Shongweni Polo Club at a cost of R130 per person. Ramblers are invited to celebrate a year of good memories.
