FRIDAY morning saw the host of regular bowlers in Tomcat’s men’s casual bowls take to the green to do battle for prizes at Wentworth Bowling Club.
In the forefront were Coy Schrawen, Herbie Roux and Johan Nel who accrued a score of plus 14.
Taking second place were Kurt Spack and Ivor Aylward, six shots behind the leaders. The sportsmen’s prize went to Errol Pienaar, Robin de Gouviea and Mark Smale. Kurt Spack and Shane Hulley each left the club with a raffled chicken in tow. Ivor Aylward and Ken Koch shared the spoils from the first 60/40 board and Ann Bonthrone and Robbie Carr pocketed the booty from the second board.
The club is proud to announce the selection of young Kearan Lassak as lead for the four-man Port Natal Bowls U15 side. His achievement is applauded and the club looks forward to sharing in Kearan’s success in his upcoming bowling career.

Members are asked to show their support and be in attendance on Saturday.
