Suspect arrested after stolen Toyota Hilux intercepted in high-speed chase on N12
A suspect was arrested after Johannesburg Metro Police officers tracked and intercepted a stolen Toyota Hilux GD-6 during a high-speed chase on the N12 West, where the driver attempted to flee on foot before being apprehended.
JMPD By-Law Management Unit officers were on parade when they received information via two-way radio regarding a stolen beige Toyota Hilux GD-6 that was travelling at high speed on the N12 West, passing the N3 split, on June 3.
Officers immediately responded and positioned themselves along the M1 South.
The vehicle was subsequently intercepted on the N12 just after the Xavier off-ramp behind Southgate.
