Buster Brown can cast a spell

The drop to 1200m should not be a problem and neither should draw No 8.

There may only be seven races on the card at Greyville tonight, but there seem to be a few possible bankers for the Pick 6 and the best of them could be Buster Brown in Race 3 and Coastal Spell in Race 4.

Buster Brown loves the Polytrack and has won twice and been runner-up four times in his last 6 starts. His runner-up berth behind Spanish Captain reads very well as that is an up and coming three-year-old and suggests that his mark of 71 is still not his cap – and he will get the benefit of Anton Marcus in the saddle.

The drop to 1200m should not be a problem and neither should draw No 8.

Trainer Dennis Drier has been a bit quiet of late but that can change tonight as Coastal Spell and Wealthy look good runners for the yard. Coastal Spell is in good form and his last two runner-up berths have suggested he is ready to win soon.

A good draw will also give jockey Sean Veale the run of the race. Wealthy will also represent the Drier-Veale combination in the lucky last race and the Silvano gelding must hold a big chance.

Wealthy showed good improvement when third behind Lokshina in his last race, his first on the Polytrack.
