Lady Of Kildare set for another win

The handicappers saw fit to give Lady Of Kildare an eight point hike but it still might not prevent her from winning again as she is well weighted on her best form (merit-rating wise).

The Sean Tarry trained-filly is a 82 on the sand but only races off a 68 on the Polytrack so this four-year-old could prove hard to oppose in Race 8, a FM 66 Divided handicap over 1600m on the Greyville Polytrack tonight.

Jockey Anthony Delpech rode a positive race aboard Lady Of Kildare last time when much too good for her opposition and skating in by a 5.0 length margin. That was her first try on the Polytrack and she loved it.

It is a bit surprising that Delpech has deserted the filly and will now be on the Gavin van Zyl-trained Sebonac but Keegan de Melo is a more than able replacement. Once again we are bemused as Keegan has been the stable choice for the Van Zyl yard for some-time.

Lady Of Kildare will jump from at outside draw in stall No 9 and will give weight away to the whole field.

Sebonac may have just needed her last run when third to Injaazaat on the turf earlier this month and tries this surface for the first time but is an obviously danger.

Beautiful Jet made a good course debut when running on late behind Alina last time and will prefer this slightly longer trip.

Embrasiatic improved on her debut third when getting up late to beat Shezamatador narrowly last time and is still unexposed so could earn minor money.
