Another Lions player, Carlu Sadie, leaves the den for the Sharks

The news comes hot on the heels of the Sharks announcing the signing of Vincent Tshituka.

Hot on the heels of the Sharks announcing they had signed rising flanker Vincent Tshituka, comes the news that promising tighthead prop Carlu Sadie has also joined the Durban team.

The powerfully-built Sadie is considered one of this country’s most talented front-row forwards.

The Sharks tweeted on Wednesday the 25-year-old would play for them for two seasons, until 2024.

Sadie played all his junior rugby in the Cape and moved to the Lions in 2020. he had previously enjoyed loan spells in Joburg and in France at Stade Francais. he made 10 appearances for the Junior Boks in 2016/17.

Besides Sadie and Tshituka, who are leaving the Lions, Burger Odendaal is also on his way, to Wasps in England, while there are strong rumours Wandisile Simelane is on the verge of joining the Bulls.
