Jali considering move from Oostende

Phakaaathi Reporter

Former Orlando Pirates star Andile Jali's representative Mike Makaab says the midfielder is weighing his options after falling down the packing order at Belgium club Oostende.

Jali was an instant hit at the club when he secured a move to Europe from Orlando Pirates. After making it clear that we wanted to leave the club at the end of last season after it was rumoured that a few clubs had enquired about his services coach Yves Vanderhaeghe favoured Cameroon midfielder Sebastien Siani over him.

Makaab admits that the lack of game time at the Belgian Club has led to Jali considering a move away.

“We are taking it week by week and seeing how things play out,” Makaab told TimesLIVE website.

“The most important thing‚ and he agrees‚ is that he must play, and that hasn’t been happening for the last short while.

“We will sit down with Oostende and discuss the situation and take it from there. When that will be, I’m not sure.”
