Bafana Bafana slip down Fifa rankings
South Africa have moved down 14 places to position 80 in the latest Fifa World rankings.

Bafana Bafana – who lost to Cape Verde in back-to-back World Cup qualifiers earlier this month – have slipped down to position 18 in Africa and 80 in World Rankings.
Following their wins over SA, Cape Verde have moved up 47 places to number 67 in World rankings.

Germany have toppled Brazil and returned to the top of the Fifa World Ranking.
Even though they have slipped down five places, Egypt remained the top ranked African side at number 30.
