The Orlando Pirates captain congratulated the team for qualifying for the continental competition but reminded them the competition is going to be very difficult and they need to work extra hard to prepare for the tournament.

“Congrats to the team, they did us proud in Tunisia. Everyone worked very hard so that we can qualify and they did well. From now on, from the coach, they know what to do to prepare well for the Afcon because the competition is going to be difficult. Everyone needs to show up and obviously, the players need to step up, they saw what happened in the qualifiers, it was very difficult,” said the Bucs skipper.

The Afcon is set to start on June 21, until 19 July. The draw for the tournament will be conducted on April 12 in Egypt.
