Bartman’s sister questions decision for his resting place

The sister of late Maritzburg United and Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Arthur Bartman says she does not understand why her brother will be buried in East London.

Prudence McKenzie believes Bartman should be laid to rest in Richmond.

“I thought I was okay, but I am not, I don’t understand why my brother has to be buried in East London while all our late family members are buried in Richmond,” McKenzie told Isolezwe.

“Why is he being buried so far away from us, but will leave everything is God’s hands.”

Bartman’s funeral service at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in East London on Saturday.
