Car accident claims another player’s life
Just a week after rewriting the history books, TS Galaxy are in mourning after one of their players died in a car accident in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Thembinkosi Mbamba died after a car accident in the Duduza area of the East Rand on Saturday morning. Details of the accidents are still sketchy at the moment but Phakaaathi understands that he was with friends in the car when it happened.
Galaxy have also confirmed the sad news on their Facebook page. “A sad morning for the TS Galaxy family as we woke up to the sad news of Thembinkosi Mbamba’s passing. Last week we were celebrating with him, today we mourn him. Our sincere condolences to his family during this difficult period, let us keep them in our prayers. Sleep well young Rocket,” the club wrote.
The 23-year-old was among the players who beat Kaizer Chiefs in a Nedbank Cup final in Durban on May 18.
