Fifa refers Ndoro case back to Safa and PSL

Fifa Players' Status Committee has referred the case concerning Tendai Ndoro's eligibility to play back to South African football authorities.

This comes after arbitrator Nassir Cassim SC ruled that the matter be referred to the world football governing body, arguing the PSL’s Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) does not have jurisdiction over the matter.

Ajax have now announced that the case has been referred back to South African football authorities by Fifa Players’ Status Committee.

“Fifa Players’ Status Committee agrees with Ajax CT’s view that they do not have jurisdiction on the Tendai Ndoro matter and refer matter back to ‘the competent authorities in South Africa’,” wrote Ajax on their official Twitter account.
