Ndoro’s court application dismissed

Ajax Cape Town striker Tendai Ndoro has had his urgent court application dismissed.

Arbitrator Nazeer Cassim SC has ruled that matter about Ndoro’s eligibility to play be referred to the Fifa players status committee. And for the striker to stop taking part in Ajax games until the matter is resolved by Fifa.

The arbitration by Cassim SC stands and the court has expressed its view that there is nothing from with his ruling.

Ajax chairman Ari Efstathiou says the club is pleased with the results.

“We have got the right to play Tendai Ndoro if we wish to, obviously the risk is ours. And will make that decision. The advocate representing the PSL assured us that the points we have earned after the DRC are safe,” Efstathiou told the SABC.
