Grobler searching for maximum points

Highlands Park caretaker coach Les Grobler has urged his players to play for maximum points against Chippa United.

The clash set for Friday night is between two teams that find themselves in the relegation zone with Chippa in 14th place tied on points with Baroka FC in position 15, just two points adrift of Highlands in at the bottom of the table.

The Lions of the North played to a 1-1 draw against Bloemfontein Celtic in their last league clash, with Mothobi Mvala finding the back of the net for the relegation-bound side.

“We haven’t changed things drastically since we took over‚ we have just made small adjustments to how we play,” Grobler said.

“We know that draws are probably not going to be good enough for us so we need to be brave and make decisions on the field that are going to help us score goals. We need the players to go out and fight.”
