Black Leopards crashed out of the Nedbank Cup after losing 3-2 on penalties to Bidvest Wits at the Thohoyandou stadium on Monday night.
The game had to be decided on penalties after the sides were locked at 1-1 after extra-time.
Following the loss, coach Dylan Kerr praised Leopards supporters who flocked the Thohoyandou Stadium to watch Lidoda Duvha.
“Fantastic supporters and for me genuine, as a team we’re really devastated by our loss as you the fans are,” read a tweet from Kerr. “Real supporters even when doubtful, the best audience in South Africa.”
