Khuzwayo excited by Chiefs exit

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo is eagerly waiting to see out his contract at Naturena.

The out-of-favour goalkeeper seems to be counting down his days at Amakhosi with his contract expiring at the end of the season.

Khuzwayo posted a picture of himself on Twitter, sitting on the bench with the caption, ‘Bekezela mfoka Khuzwayo sekuseduze phambili’, which means ‘Be patient son of Khuzwayo, your destination is close”.

Khuzwayo was offered a new contract at Chiefs, but decided not to sign it after the club refused to assure him of game time next season. Khuzwayo had asked to be selected ahead of Itumeleng Khune for some league matches.

The Umlazi-born goalkeeper was linked with Orlando Pirates after it was reported that he has signed a pre-contract with the Buccaneers.

Responding to his post, some Chiefs fans accused Khuzwayo of being a cry baby for complaining about being number two, while some encouraged him to find another club.
