Sweeping changes mooted at Swallows

'There is a feeling some are just not doing enough to help the team because they know that even if they are relegated it will not affect them that much,' said a source. 


There is to be a massive clearout of players at Swallows FC in the January transfer window, Phakaaathi has heard. The club are said to be reviewing all the players to determine their dedication to the course of the team, especially those on loan.

The Dube Birds are currently bottom of the DStv Premiership standings and management have resolved to do everything in their power to ensure the team does not go down. 

A change in the coaching department was recently instituted with Brandon Truter and Simo Dladla chased away and Dylan Kerr brought in. 

“That’s not the only change that will happen. There are likely to be some players let go of in January if the team feels they are not making the expected contributions. 

“There are a lot of players on loan at the club and there is a feeling that some are just not doing enough to help the team because they know that even if they are relegated it will not affect them that much,” said a source.
