Agent urges Bafana star to quit Belgian club

Andile Jali's agent Pashalis Tountouris said at the weekend he is hopeful Andile Jali will leave Belgian side KV Oostende in the off-season.

Jali has found his opportunities limited this season, though he has started their last two games in the Jupiler League Championship play-offs.

Oostende have already exercised an option to extend the Bafana midfielder’s contract to the middle of next year.

“He has had a difficult season and is underestimated and undervalued,” Tountouris told the Belgian website voetbalnieuws.be.

“However, Oostende took the option until mid-2018. Jali misses the game because he played little, but you see in the recent play-off matches that he has many qualities. We think it’s time to move on and we are working on a solution. Return to South Africa? Those rumours do not have to be believed because he is only 27 years old and has many great years ahead.”
