“Baroka are very keen on bringing him on board,” said the source.
“Look, the club is struggling and they want to do everything they can in order to secure their PSL status. Phalane is one of the players they have identified to come and help the club going into the second half of the season, but we will see how things unfold.”
Still with Baroka, the team has appointed former Mpumalanga Black Aces coach Jacob Sakala as the head coach of the club replacing Kgoloko Thobejane.
However, Thobejane is still with the club and will be serving as Sakala’s assistant.
