Konqobe set to face PSL music for signing three contracts?

Thanda Royal Zulu defender Ayabulela Konqobe could be in hot water with the PSL after allegedly signing contracts with three different teams.

According to a Phakaaathi source, the 21-year-old defender has signed with Chippa United, Orlando Pirates and Free State Stars.

“The poor boy was misled by a member of his family that’s representing him. He signed a pre-contract with Stars, then Chippa. They then heard that Pirates were interested and they also signed a pre-contract with them,” said the source.

“I hear that he had also agreed to a new contract with Thanda after their promotion, so it’s anybody’s idea as to where he will be playing next season.”

If indeed Konqobe has signed so many contracts, he could face the PSL Disciplinary Committee as it was the case with Siphelele Mthembu in 2008.

This was after the striker signed contracts with both Kaizer Chiefs and Pirates.
