Nerves got the better of Soumahoro – Mosimane
Bangaly Soumahoro was indirectly held responsible for not marking Horoya AC’s captain Aboubacar Camara as he headed home to level matters at 2-2 in a Caf Champions League Group C match on Tuesday.

Masandawana now find themselves with two points adrift defending champions Wydad Casablanca and the Guinea outfit.
“I was a little bit unhappy because it was 2-1 and my centre back lets the most important player that we all know on set pieces, he is the only player who scores with the head, we all know that,” said Mosimane.

Soumahoro, born in Adzope, Ivory Coast, has a Guinea mother and has been caught between playing for Côte d’Ivoire or Guinea. Mosimane says his performance was affected because he tried to impress those looking on at the Stade du 28 Septembre on Tuesday.
“He knew that somebody approached him to play for Guinea and I was a bit worried that it might affect his game and it did affect his game. He didn’t play the way he always plays,” said Mosimane.
“He is a better player, he was a bit nervous because he wanted impress and he didn’t play normal but he is a very good football player,” Mosimane said in the 26-year-old’s defence.
He added: “In my opinion, if he wants to play for Guinea, I give him the green light.”
