PSL rejects return to Zimbabwe

Former Bloemfontein Celtic striker Roderick Mutuma and ex-Bidvest Wits’ Denver Mukamba have returned to Zimbabwe to join Highlanders and Dynamos, respectively.

Mutuma has signed a one-year contract with Bosso, and his signing was confirmed by acting club chairman Modern Ngwenya.

“He’s now our player on a year’s deal,” Ngwenya told the Chronicle.

“Wide consultations were done before reaching this landmark decision. Bosso is a big institution, and we can’t make decisions overnight. A lot needs to be tied together so that the club is protected, but I can tell you the player himself is excited and itching to play for us. This is why he continue to train with us despite the huge interest from other clubs.”

Mukamba who also played for University of Pretoria and Jomo Cosmos in South Africa says he is happy to be back with Dynamos.

“This is my home. They gave me the chance to go play in South Africa, and I have learnt a lot from there, which I think will help me at Dynamos once again. It’s almost a new team, with a number of young players in the team, but there is also experience in the team which is a good combination for this season,” he told SuperSport.
