Stars appoint new assistant coach

Free State Stars have announced the appointment of Marko Vasiljevic as their new assistant coach.


The club has confirmed that Vasiljevic and David Vilakazi will serve as assistant coaches to head coach Nikola Kavazovic.

“Free State Stars can confirm the appointment of assistant coach Marko Vasiljevic,” read a statement on the club’s website. “Kavazovic and his countryman have previously worked together in Kenya at AFC Leopards. Vasiljevic, who possesses a UEFA B Licence College Certificate will be looking forward to working in the PSL and helping the team move up the table.”

The 26-year-old is eligible to sit on the bench when Stars take on Black Leopards in an Absa Premiership this coming weekend after obtaining his work permit.
