In a moment that caused mass hilarity on Twitter on Friday night, Free State Stars striker Mohammed Anas appeared to accidentally reveal his womanising ways while accepting his man of the match award.
He scored both goals for his team in a 2-2 draw against Ajax Cape Town.
He started off well, thanking God for being able to perform so well. But then he immediately thanked his wife and girlfriend too.
Realising the huge blunder, he tried to correct it by saying: “I mean my wife, sorry.”
He looked so flustered after the faux pax that he could barely put together another coherent comment.
Fortunately, Twitter was able to come up with more than enough comments of its own.
