Prominent Zimbabwean fan invited to watch Clive Barker honorary match
Alvin Zhakata has received an invitation to watch a match which will be played in honour of legendary former Bafana Bafana coach Clive Barker.

The Zimbabwean fan is expected to travel to Durban to watch the match scheduled for 20 December at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
“I am so honoured. Clive Barker is a legend, the only coach to win a major trophy with Bafana Bafana, he is an icon and from childhood I used to have a collection of his posters,” Zhakata told the Chronicle.
“I never knew one day I was going to be invited to his honorary event. I am humbled by the recognition and l am looking forward to a great time in Durban.”
Zhakata made headlines hitch-hiked from Cape Town to Cairo to watch the 2019 Afcon in Egypt in June and received VIP treatment from Caf for making the trip.
