Midvaal to host firefighting competition and expo

Meyerton will again host the Fit to Fight Fire Competition and Fire Expo in May.

MEYERTON. – Some of the country’s fittest fire fighters will display their fitness at the annual Fit to Fight Fire Competition and Fire Expo in Meyerton on the 25th of May at Midvaal Sport Centre.

The event will be a fun filled day with exhibitors, fire engines, food stalls and demonstrations on snake handling and the use of fire extinguishers.

There will also be demonstrations on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), as well as a K9 demonstration.

The competition and expo starts at 08:00.
