DA Coucillor Phillip Nothnagel of Ward 5, including Phoenix Park in the Emfuleni Local Council writes:

These empty bottles were collected at Phoenix Park in Frikkie Meyer Boulevard, Vanderbijlpark on 2 January 2017. This is only part of the liquor consumed at the park on New Year’s day. The area in the street around the swimming pool at SE2 was just as bad.
What-ever happened to By-law and for that matter Law enforcement in our parks and public places?
This is a disgrace!
A repetition of this situation cannot be condoned.
