Vereeniging Police Station temporarily closed due to Covid-19 incident

The building will be undergoing decontamination and the community will be informed when the station will be operational again.

VEREENIGING. – The Vereeniging police station has been temporarily closed for decontamination after one member tested positive for Covid-19.

Police Spokesperson Brigadier Mathapelo Peters says, “The Community Service Centre (CSC) will be operating from the Loss Management Offices at flat no 8, behind the police station.

The community is advised to call 10111 for all emergencies and complaints which need to be attended by the police in Vereeniging.

Due to the incident,  lines at Vereeniging police station CSC will not be accessible for the duration of closure.

The building will be undergoing decontamination and the community will be informed when the station will be operational again. The SAPS Management has since apologised for any inconvenience caused.

Members of the community in need of the CSC services can call  016-450-2153.
