ER24 paramedics arrived at a nearby farmhouse after the man had climbed out of his overturned vehicle and had walked to a nearby residence for assistance.
“Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained several injuries and was in a serious condition,” ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said.
Meiring said the man was treated for his injuries and provided with pain-relief medication before he was transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
