VEREENIGING. – The police and correctional services have launched a manhunt after a prisoner who is said to have escaped from the Leeuhof Prison.

According to a statement issued by the South African Support Initiative Nicolas Snyman’s hands would most likely have been cut due to the razer wired fence he had to jump over in order to escape.
