MEYERTON.- Danelle Dreyer, a well-known resident of Meyerton and finalist in the Ster-Status reality series on DStv, spoiled and pampered twenty young girls from Sicelo township in Meyerton on Sunday, 1 November at the Rivierplaas in Riversdale.
The girls received well-organised lessons about skincare and eyebrow shaping as well as colouring. The girls enjoyed the outing and told Ster North that they learned a lot during the morning.

There was also a lucky draw and at the end of the session the young women were spoiled with a delicious meal.
According to Dreyer, empowering young women was the main goal of the #PamperAndEmpower morning she organized.
She says the morning would not have been possible without the support of sponsors in the community who helped make this day possible.
She owes her thanks to Rivierplaas (where the event was held), Cancun Spur (who provided the meal), as well as Ma Dolly’s, Pin-Up Studio, Rozanne Foulds of Hannon and Model Bottle Store, Vaal Triangle Wireless and SPCA Travel Africa for their involvement in this upliftment initiative.
* Dreyer is to be seen on Tuesdays at 6pm on Ster-Status on VIA (channel 147 on DStv).
