One killed, one injured in vehicle rollover
ER24 says man sustained fatal injuries and a woman sustained minor injuries following a vehicle rollover on the corner of Playfair and Westinghouse Boulevard in Vanderbijlpark early this morning.
VANDERBIJLPARK. – Ineke van Huyssteen, ER24 multimedia journalist, explains:
“When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly before 02h00 am, they found a vehicle lying on its side inside a backyard of a house. “Upon further assessment, a male was found in the back of the vehicle showing no signs of life.
“Unfortunately, there were nothing paramedics could do for him and he was declared dead at the scene.
“A woman was found walking around at the scene, she had sustained minor injuries but declined transportation to hospital.”
Van Huyssteen says that, fortunately no-one from the house was injured.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident was not known to our paramedics.
