Christmas Cakes for a good cause

The Lions Club of Vereeniging is selling Christmas Cakes at R135 per kilogram to raise funds to finance projects in the community.

VEREENIGING. – By purchasing these cakes you are helping to improve the lives of people across South African Communities.

The selling of Christmas Cakes to raise funds is a long standing tradition at Lions Clubs throughout Southern Africa that was started in 1975.

Lions meet the needs of local communities throughout the world. Projects include vision programmes to improve and prevent blindness, hearing projects, diabetes awareness and education, youth exchange and leadership development, feeding schemes, assistance to senior citizens, the youth, mentally & physically challenged people, protecting the environment and disaster relief.
