The Pedal Power Association (PPA) is pleased to welcome Neil Robinson as their new Chief Executive Officer from the 1st of February 2022. Neil’s key mandate will be to as per the strategic intent described at the AGM in 2021, focus on the broader aspects of enabling cycling to serve the interests of all our citizens.
With over 30 years in various sectors including the NGO and Social Enterprise space, Neil brings a strong strategic development and marketing background to the role. He also has experience in growing and developing new businesses and creating employment opportunities at the local level.
Neil’s passions include:
– Creating opportunities that help address the inequality that is so prevalent;
– Cape Town and South Africa; and
– Sport and all the emotions that go with that (euphoria, people connection, and heartache.
Whilst Neil is keen to take on the challenge of meeting PPA’s broader mandate PPA’s to have cycling recognized both as a means of transport and as a sport he remains very aware of the history of PPA and the interests and values of our members.
