VAALPARK. – Day two of the Free State Open Championship is drawing to a close at the Heron Banks Golf Club.  Scores are still rolling in but at the time of publication, Christiaan Maas of Gauteng finished the second round four-under-par to stay on top of the log with a tally of seven-under-par after 36 holes. Breathing down his neck are Keegan Mclachlan (-5) and Christiaan Burke (-3).  * Updated scores will follow.
