On Monday ER24 arrived at 18h35 to find the Free State EMS already in attendance.
“A large truck was seen on the side of the road with a bakkie smashed partially beneath the front,” ER24 said in statement.
“On closer inspection, medics found a man lying trapped inside the bakkie.”

“Unfortunately, the man had already succumbed to numerous injuries and was declared dead.
The Free State EMS assessed three other patients from the bakkie. A woman and an 11-year-old boy were in critical condition, while a 7-year-old boy had sustained moderate injuries.”
The patients were treated and thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for urgent care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.”
