Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis was over the moon even though she feels they could have done much better than the score board suggested.
“There are some of the areas of our game that we need to improve especially in defence and being clinical in front of goals. I think we could have done much better but I’m happy we came home with a point away from home. We knew what to expect especially coming into this game with a 2-0 lead, but we had a game plan to take the game to them. We didn’t come here to sit back and defend this 2-0 lead but to take all three points. I must complement our girls, they put up a brave fight from the first and last whistle,” said Ellis.
